Full-suite event registration, donations processing & member database for cultural organization

Description

We built custom systems for event registration and ticketing, donations processing, and member-data collection for a Berlin-based cultural institution.


Solution & Impact

  • 230+ live events with over 6,500 participants managed through the organization’s digital tools

  • Designed and developed a custom website to showcase the organization’s content, events, and members, allow participants to register for events and purchase tickets, and process donations (visit here)

  • Set up a standardized event registration and ticketing system for seamless sign-up and checkout for users and simple event management for the organization

  • Developed a custom centralized CRM to collect member data including events attended, areas of interest, level of engagement, demographic details, and other relevant info

  • Built a branded donations processing tool to allow donors to support the organization directly via the website and allow the organization to handle tax filing, donor thank-yous, and reporting on a single back-end tool


Client Problem

  • Website did not adequately reflect the organization’s expansive content and event offerings for participants

  • Organization was using Google Forms, Google Sheets, Venmo, Paypal, SMS, Instagram and email to manage events and donations, resulting in substantial administrative burden

  • Client did not have a centralized storage point for all participant information, making it impossible to promote future events, share related content, and raise donations

  • No single ‘source of truth’ to understand how many people were participating in events across each city, digest information on donors and supporters, or evaluate trends across the organization
